After lunch, we returned home. I dropped my daughter off with my wife and then I went for a drive. These events are difficult to describe in words, but I will try. I was driving down the road listening to U2's “City of Blinding Lights." I wondered, “Could they be talking about heaven?” I would bet they are strong Christians based on many of their lyrics. I thank them for their inspirational music! Anyway, as I was driving down the road, it was almost like the sky suddenly opened up, and I saw a strange brilliant light all around me that I really cannot describe adequately in words. I felt a strong surge of power and strength deep inside my soul. These feelings of being so alive again persisted all day long. It dawned on me that the only explanation was that it had to be from God. Something told me that when I had cried out to Jesus the previous evening, the Holy Spirit had pierced my heart, renewed my mind, and saved my soul. It happened that fast.
Later that same day, I experienced something that is again almost impossible to accurately describe in words, but I will do my best. While my wife and I were separated, we were all still living together. That evening, while I was tucking my daughter into bed, I gazed out the window at the sunset once again and we said a bedtime prayer together. After the prayer, I saw rays of light from the setting sun beaming through the rustling leaves on one of the trees in my backyard next to our house. I closed the blinds and the curtains. I tried to block out all of the light as much as possible so my daughter could sleep, but the beam of light persisted and passed through the bedroom window, through the closed blinds, through a small crack in the curtain, and projected an image onto the wall across from my daughter's bed. What I saw, and my little girl will also testify to this to this day, was unbelievable. I saw an angel.

About the Book
This was written in 2006 during a time of tremendous pain and suffering in the author's life. At that time, there was no intention of having it published. The author wrote it because he believed he was compelled by God to document the events he witnessed when he lost his marriage and was saved from his sins by Jesus Christ on June 4, 2005. In case of his unexpected death, he wanted people to know about his eyewitness testimony of the miracle God worked in his life, and in hope that people would believe that Jesus Christ really was and still is the Son of God. Jesus loves you so much that He gave His life to save you from your sins. He is risen, and He will live and reign forever and ever. God wants you to be in Heaven. Please believe in His Son, and you will receive the gift of salvation that only Jesus Christ can give you. May the peace of God be with you.
