About the Book

A young boy and his family must move from the reservation. A very special dog shows them the way. This is a story of traditions and insight. A portion of the profits of this book are donated to St. Michael's Association for Disabled Navajo Children, School & Residential Facility, in Arizona.

About the Author

Maria Wolf is a pen name. The author is a teacher, a librarian, a mother, and a life-long storyteller, with love of the native voice. She lives in New Jersey with her son, her land of gardens, and their family of dogs.
