Meredith wondered if she looked chubby in her new daisy bathing suit. All the other girls at the birthday party looked slim and trim in their cute suits. After her second huge helping of cake and ice cream, one of the birthday twins announced, “You’re really piggy, Meredith!” Stung, she sat by the side of the pool, feeling lonely. Five years later, obese and in high school, she broke a chair.

About the Book
Meredith, a high schooler, struggled with obesity her entire life. She experienced misery and bullying for years. Through one conversation with her dad, she learned about food addiction, and the 12-Step Program, Overeaters Anonymous. This is her story.
About the Author
Theresa Corbley Siller, BSEd., has been published in two national magazines and five newspapers. She published From Torment To Triumph, A Story Of Hope in 2013, and Forgiveness in 2019. She thanks God for her husband, their daughters, and a cat.
