About the Book

Living, learning and loving during a global pandemic has change the dynamic of many households across the nation in 2020. As our family quarantined, and learned to live during a “new normal” , we noticed some incredible characteristics in our amazing two little boys. This book is a documentation in how they learned to help one another and demonstrate some amazing super powers that we all have and we all can learn to incorporate in our daily lives. We can encourage one another, help one another, be kind to one another, be creative and bring joy to those around you.

About the Author

Nadiah Trotman-Blackman Ed.D. is a wife and mother of 2 beautiful boys. Becoming a mother has been her greatest joy and biggest accomplishment greatest joy Watching her boys learn and grow has made me a better mother and a better educator. Dr Trotman-Blackman is a master educator with over 20 years of experience working with children and families. Dr. Trotman-Blackman has a B.S. in Elementary Education from Lincoln University, M.A.Ed. in Education and Human Development with a focus on Early Childhood Special Education from George Washington University. Receiving her Doctoral degree in Human Services Administration with a minor in Autism Education. Arthur Mitchell is a Special Education Consultant, Youth Advocate, and Author who helps children with special needs build self-confidence, gain clarity, and live healthy lifestyles. At the age of 6, ArtMitch was diagnosed with an eye disease called Keratoconus. Keratoconus is an eye disease that presses on your pupil causing blurriness to your vision. When most children's only concern at that age was playing, he was trying to make sure he could see the world as normal. Growing up with this disease was not an easy task. Art Mitch dealt with being bullied because nobody knew of this disease that he was dealing with. As the years passed he was introduced to a procedure that could possibly help his vision called Corneal Transplants. Art Mitch had 7 eye surgeries to correct his vision.
