About the Book
A is for Apple, but it is also for Alden, Anna, Alex, Andre, and many more! In this charming book, author Karyn Albrecht Luke and illustrator Sammy Dunaway take us through the alphabet while celebrating what makes each of us unique and special. Each letter is associated with a name and one thing that person loves to do. Kaia loves basketball and Nolo is kind. We all have talents and qualities that set us apart. One of the greatest things that I have found is everyone’s talents make the world go ‘round! This little book is aimed at making children feel included and celebrated, building confidence and self-esteem while teaching the ABCs. Learn about twenty-six different people, learn your letters, and learn a little about yourself, too, in A is for All of Us.
